Sessions are led by the young person and can be as simple as talking about what’s going on in their life — school, friendships, family, motivation, confidence, ADHD or anything else that’s on their mind.
I can listen, help them make sense of things, share my ADHD knowledge and experience, offer suggestions when they want them, and support them to work things through.
We might chat, do an activity, play a board game, explore something that’s happened or simply have a relaxed session together.
The aim is to provide a consistent, trusted adult who understands ADHD and is genuinely in their corner.
There are no targets, no homework and no lectures.
